Teradyne to Pay $250M for Eagle Test Systems

Teradyne (NYSE: TER) has agreed to pay approximately $250 million ($15.65 a share) to acquire Eagle Test Systems (NASDAQ: EGLT) of Illinois, the North Reading, MA-based maker of electronics testing equipment announced today. Teradyne said it had secured bridge financing—the amount was not disclosed—to help complete the deal. Eagle makes analog, mixed-signal and radio frequency semiconductor test products.
