Battery Powers Social Advertising Network

According to regulatory filings cited today by PE Week Wire, Waltham, MA-based Battery Ventures is the lead investor in a $1 million Series A funding round for Adisn, a Long Beach, CA-based Web advertising network. The company says it mines blogs and other social media sites for information about relationships between topics and applies that information to target advertisements for maximum return.
