PatientKeeper Gets $7.5M Injection

PatientKeeper, a Newton, MA, maker of software that enables doctors to use their mobile or desktop computers to view patient health records and prescribe drugs, among other functions, has reeled in $7.5 million in a Series F round of financing, according to PE Hub. The 12-year-old firm has now raised $75 million from such backers as Frazier Healthcare Ventures, Whitney & Co., and New Enterprise Associates
