DynaTrace Takes $12.9 Million

Waltham, MA-based DynaTrace Software, whose products diagnose performance problems in large, distributed enterprise systems from companies like SAP, Microsoft, and IBM, announced today that it has closed a second round of funding totaling $12.9 million. The Series B investors included Bay Partners of Menlo Park, CA, and existing investor Bain Capital Ventures of Boston. In a statement, the three-year-old company said the new funds will be used to “further expand the Company’s sales, marketing and business development activities.”
