You are saving me TIME!! With SlyDial I can now call my patients with results of lab tests, Xray reults, etc., WITHOUT having to listen to other trivial complaints that they have thought about in the interim i.e. sore throats, ear aches, sprained ankles, abrasions,ingrown toe nails, sick pets, etc. Very clever indeed!!!! Thanks so much

Another way to return calls or messages from family and friends when you don’t really want to talk to them is to text – even if the recipient doesn’t have a mobile phone. Did you know that most major carriers provide text to landline capabilities? Simply text your message and the recipient at the landline hears a recorded message of your text (ad free) and can reply via voice. Mobile phone users with Sprint/Nextel, Verizon, Alltel, Virgin Mobile, Boost Mobile and more already have this capability often for no extra charge! In Ireland, you simply dial the prefix 08(network dependent digit), 5, and then the rest of the number, and you hit voice mail every time.

What a waste of time. Because YOU were too lazy to just phone, the receiver then HAS to listen to a 10 second ad (yeah, exploit that “new technology”!) for whatever drivel you want to pass on.

I think they already invented something for this…. wasn’t it called snailmail? ;)
