Skyhook Launches in Europe

Boston-based Skyhook Wireless, which makes embedded location-finding software for a range of devices from mobile phones to digital camera memory cards, said today that it has launched sales and operations efforts in Europe. It will make its formal European debut at a Mobile Monday London gathering tonight, and it’s already working with companies like UK-based BuddyPing and Rummble and Dublin, Ireland-based Locle to build its Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS) and its XPS hybrid positioning system into their software.
