DimDim Raises $6 Million

DimDim, a Boston startup that has created a free, open-source, Web-based multimedia conferencing system as an alternative to paid services such as WebEx, said today that it has raised $6 million in Series B venture financing. Existing investors Index Ventures, Nexus India Capital, and Draper Richards led the round, which expands on a $2.4 million Series A round in January, 2007.
