Wade Roush6/30/08

Boston-based venture firm .406 Ventures is the lead investor in a Series B funding round for Kaltura, a Brooklyn, NY-based startup that makes an open-source Internet video platform used by Wikipedia and other publications. The size of the round was not disclosed, but CNET reported that the company said it was “significantly larger” than the $2.1 million Series A round that the company obtained from San Diego-based Avalon Ventures (which also participated in the new round) and angel investors.
