Wade Roush6/25/08

Wilmington, MA-based Security Innovation, which consults with Fortune 500 companies on the security of their software applications, said today it has raised $7.1 million in Series A funding in a round led by Brook Venture Partners of Wakefield, MA. Founded in 2002 by software quality expert James Whittaker, the company hasn’t taken any venture investment until now, but says it will use the round to scale up sales and marketing and product development efforts.
