UTC Power Tapped To Lead $22M DOE Project

UTC Power, a renewable energy company based in South Windsor, CT, has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to lead a two-year, $22 million project to develop cheap, modular fuel cell systems. This is the latest in a flurry of fuel-cell activity this week, with Westwood, MA-based Acumentrics having received a $15.6 million DOE grant.
