Basecamp is made for Web-designers mostly and it's good for them. Web-designers don't practice Six Sigma. Other companies do. The thing is that there are tools that are meant for different audiencies. For example, my company is using <a href="http://www.wrike.com" rel="nofollow">Wrike</a>. It's great for managing a small business and collaborating with clients. It uses email integration and makes it easy to organize email communication. We love it!
