Every year, the Deshpande Center for Technological Innovation at MIT holds its invitation-only Ideastream symposium that brings together leading entrepreneurs, innovators, venture capitalists, and researchers to examine ways to bridge the gap between MIT research and the business and technology community. Xconomy founder and editor in chief Bob Buderi will be moderating a plenary session forum called Innovation at the Edges that looks in part at cross-disciplinary innovation and collaboration. Guests include MIT professor and A123 founder Yet-Ming Chiang; former IBM technology and strategy executive Irving Wladawsky-Berger; and Tyler Jacks, director of MIT’s Center for Cancer Research.
