The FIRST Robotics Competition, founded by Dean Kamen, has become all the rage. Think WWF meets rock concert meets geeks meets student-built robots. It’s wild, it’s fun—and it’s advancing the cause of science and technology education. The Blue Man Group kicks off the Boston area finals, run by Xconomist Marc Hodosh. Kamen, also an Xconomist, blogged on the concept here.
