Avedro Sees Way to $8 Million Funding Round

Avedro, a Waltham, MA-based developer of vision correction technologies that bills itself as “the next wave in refractive surgery,” has closed an $8 million Series A-1 funding round led by Prism VentureWorks, PE Week reports, citing a regulatory filing. Return backers include Echelon Ventures and Borealis Ventures.
