VERY DISHONEST ARTICLE.
IT ASSUMES THAT CORN-BASED ETHANOL DEPRIVES COWS AND PEOPLE OF FOOD. IT IS THE HIGH PRICE OF OIL THAT DOES SO, BUT YOU ARE TRYING TO SHOOT THE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO REMEDY THE SITUATION. THE SITUATION IS SUCH - WE NEED BOTH PARTS OF A CORN STALK, GRAIN AND THE REST, AS THEY COME TOGETHER IN A PACKAGE.
THE DEMAND FOR BIOMASS CAN ONLY BE SATISFIED BY AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY, AS THERE IS NO OTHER ORGANIZED HUMAN ACTIVITY CAPABLE OF EFFICIENTLY PROVIDING THE BIOMASS FOR CELLULOSIC PROCESS - WE CAN'T WELL GO SCAVENGING FOR FIREWOOD IN THE FOREST.
SO DON'T GO ATTACKING CORN-BASED ETHANOL, ATTACK THE OIL SCARCITY.

It seems a promissing approach, if the cost of production is stable at increasing supply.
