Highland Adds Two New Partners, Loses One

Highland Capital Partners, the Lexington, MA-based venture capital firm, announced on Friday that it has promoted Peter Bell and Richard de Silva to general partner. Based in the firm’s Menlo Park office, de Silva focuses on digital media investments and has been at Highland since 2003. Bell, former CEO of StorageNetworks, joined the firm last year. He works in the Lexington office and concentrates on technology investments.

UPDATED: Waltham-based Charles River Ventures announced today that Highland general partner Jon Auerbach has joined Charles River as a general partner.
