ULocate Names Contest Winners

Wade Roush11/19/07

ULocate, the Boston company we featured a few weeks ago for its work on a platform for location-based widgets on cell phones, announced the winners of its first developers contest today. The winning entries, whose developers will receive cash prizes and have their widgets made available on several cellular carriers via uLocate’s Where platform, are shopping directory Yokel, reminder service Proxido, and CellSoul, a service that calculates the timing of the five daily Muslim prayers based on a user’s current GPS coordinates.
