First Mass-Produced XO Laptop Rolls Off Line

An assembly line dedicated to the One Laptop Per Child Foundation’s XO Laptop went into operation yesterday at Quanta Computer’s new Changshu factory north of Shanghai yesterday, a few days ahead of the timeline One Laptop CTO Mary Lou Jepsen projected the last time Xconomy spoke with her.
