Don’t forget Christopher Young, general partner, New England Partners (http://www.nepartners.com/team.html).

He was a stud LAX player at Babson College in the late 80s. In the early 90s, he founded the Wellesley High School (Wellesley, MA) boys lacrosse team, coaching it for several years and handed over the reigns. Last few years the team has been the one to beat..

Oh yeah, Chris can be found running the Charles training for the Boston Athletic Association half marathon Columbus Day weekend.

(full disclose: I’m Chris' younger brother!)

Here's another one that came via e-mail into the editors' bin:

Rufus Clark of Bunker Hill Capital, ex-Harvard lacrosse player, has run numerous marathons and triathlons, and is currently 'the ageless wonder.'

Just heard about our first major omission: David Flaschen, operating partner at Newton's Castanea Partners.

His impressive credentials include playing soccer for four years at Brown, with the team winning the Ivy League crown every year; two NCAA Final Fours (third place both times); and being a first-round draft pick of the Chicago Sting. Flaschen played three seasons in the North American Soccer League.

Nice job chasing down this vital info. Mannion, Forlenza and Scarpa deserve some special recognition for the Basketball Methuselah factor as well. While partial to basketball, I would suggest that someone research Bill Fitzgerald at GC (his kid is a tremendous hockey player and he played in college) and John Simon of GC as well who was a Rhodes Scholar Tennis player out of Harvard.
