@"Johnny" - We'd love to talk and figure out what is going wrong and how to make you a successful HubSpot customer. We have over 1,000 customers, and the vast majority of them are quite happy. The average HubSpot B2B customer gets 6 times more leads in six months if they follow our methodology and implement all the software features. Please email Jonah Lopin, VP Customers (jlopin {at} HubSpot). At this point, we unfortuantely have no idea who you are based on this comment.

Never in my life have I encountered a company as poor and overwhelmingly un-supportive as Hubspot. their CMS is so bad I can't even put it in words, no design flexibility whatsoever , poor WYSIWYG editor brought straight from the 90s' and generates tons of junk code, and I'm not even going to start about compliance with W3C. their support team is lousy to say the least, no understanding whatsoever in web technology and standards. and the marketing tools they are so proudly giving for heaps of money can be acquired for free if you go to Google analytics. I was totally mislead by their sales guy and unfortunately my company has decided that too much work and effort have been already put into them so we are sticking with them. The first chance I get I'll move us to Joomla or similar and just use the great tools Google gives out for free. in four words: DON'T WORK WITH HUBSPOT!!!

Online marketing can be a useful tool to market your business since it reaches wider scope of potential clients. You should think thoroughly before actually taping Hubspot as a tool for SEO and should consider the gains or advantages versus the cost of online marketing. You should also weigh if this investment will reap profits for your business especially if your business is small and just starting up.

Hubspot could be a good small business tool for SEO but I'm not so sure about the whole "can get 80 percent of what they'd get from an SEO professional..." I think that's kind of a broad statement since industry, the specific professional and many other factors can change, whereas the small business help Hubspot gives will stay mostly the same. Basically a lot depends on your specific small business so make sure you think the decision through.
