I realize this is quite a late response, but I came across your piece today.

Please do not listen to Rodman & Renshaw. They are clueless in this situation.

Bioenvision got jammed up with Genzyme due to the shared arrangement on Clofarabine. I’m sure Chris Wood – a prominent oncologist – didn’t realize what a creepy management he was in bed with. Wood is a thoroughly decent fellow.

Luci is another story. He was supposed the IR for BIVN and I can tell you – having raised funds for them and following the company – he was the worst there was. In no way did he even deserve his ridiculous salary, let alone more stock.

Also, he had NOTHING to do with the acquisition. What a fraud he is.
