Rebecca Zacks 7/11/07

The last few days have seen a flurry of news from local tech companies. Here are a few of the items that piqued our interest—and our appetites:

—The board of India’s Megasoft Limited approved a deal to acquire Bedford, MA-based Boston Communications Group for $65 million, potentially ending what has been a rough ride for the local firm, a provider of products and services for the mobile telecom sector.

Cambridge-based Dyax and Newton-based Clinical Data each announced public stock offerings.

—Boston’s Myomo announced that it had received FDA approval for its first product, a wearable robotic aide for partially paralyzed arms.

—Taunton-based MooBella, which makes vending machines that manufacturer and dispense ice cream on the spot, closed a $25 million financing round.
