Ben Elowitz is co-founder and CEO of Wetpaint, a next-generation media company that has more than 9 million unique visitors monthly on its combined Web properties. He writes frequently on the subject of next-generation digital media publishing at his own blog, Digital Quarters, and his newsletter, Media Success. Elowitz's work also has been featured on CNNMoney, TechCrunch, All Things D, The Huffington Post, Forbes, Fortune, TIME, and other outlets. Prior to Wetpaint, Elowitz co-founded Blue Nile, the largest online retailer of luxury goods.
Elowitz holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. He's also an angel investor in several media and e-commerce companies, including the Cheezburger Network, and is a frequent conference speaker on digital media, social content, and entrepreneurship.
