Andreas Sundquist

Andreas Sundquist, Ph.D., is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DNAnexus, a pioneer in cloud computing and web services for genomics. The mission of DNAnexus is to unlock the potential of DNA-based medicine and biotechnology with a collaborative and scalable data technology platform that provides a secure and efficient solution for the management, storage, and analysis of genomic data. Andreas is an expert on the analysis of ultra high-throughput DNA sequence data and has published methods in whole-genome mammalian assembly, metagenomics, and population genetics. Andreas received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
