Shell Spinoff Kalido Raises $10 Million

Kalido, a data warehousing and management software company based in Burlington, MA, has raised $10 million in Series D funding, according to a regulatory filing cited by PE Week. The company, which has reportedly garnered $29 million in venture funding to date, spun out of Royal Dutch/Shell Group in 2003. Return backers, all of which have seats on Kalido’s board, include Atlas Venture, Balderton Capital, and Matrix Partners, PE Week reports.
